Ms. Golnesa (Nesa) Monazamfar has been employed at the Law Offices of Rod Firoozye since 2010. She initially worked as a paralegal to Mr. Firoozye, and after passing her bar exam began working as an associate attorney with the firm.
Since 2010, Ms. Monazamfar has had first-hand experience dealing with a variety of complex family law cases (including but not limited to property issues, custody matter and restraining orders).
Before joining the Law Offices of Rod Firoozye, Ms. Monazamfar worked as a volunteer intern for the Pro Bono Project of Silicon Valley, helping clients through their Family Law matters.
Golnesa Monazamfar obtained her law degree from Azad University in Tehran, Iran, where she graduated as of one of the top students in her class and served as the president of the student association. Ms. Monazamfar’s work in law school led to the growth of the “Dispute Resolution Council” (a judicial body in charge of mediation in minor civil and criminal cases).
Ms. Monazamfar currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Santa Clara County Bar Association, and continues to volunteer as a fee arbitrator for the SCCBA. Ms. Monazamfar previously served as both the Chair and the Vice-Chair of the Santa Clara County Barristers Committee.
Additionally Ms. Monazamfar provides services for the San Mateo and Santa Clara Family Courts, as a volunteer attorney and property arbitrator.
Santa Clara County Bar Association awarded Ms. Monazamfar with the 2017 Barrister of the Year award for her contributions to the legal profession in both a professional capacity and for her involvement in pro bono and community activities.
While Ms. Monazamfar is licensed to practice law in California, she has extensive knowledge of the Islamic Family Law.
